Deodorant and antiperspirant are personal hygiene products that help keep an individual smelling good throughout the day. These products come in variety of scents and sizes. Travel deodorant is typically a small, compact deodorant, similar to a sample size. With the compact package it can easily fit into a small travel bag.

Most sundries are available in a travel size. This includes toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, shaving cream, and deodorant. The travel deodorant is most often used by the business traveler. These handy size portions are easier to carry in travel bags because they as small and light.

The United States Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) has implemented tight security requirements throughout all airports. These restrictions have limited the size and quaintly of liquids and aerosols that can be carried onto an airplane. The limitation requires any carried container must be less than 3.4 ounce (100ml) in total volume. Most travel deodorant packages will meet the restriction requirements of TSA.

With the new airport restrictions in the United States most product companies have created travel size containers for all of their toiletry products. In fact many supermarkets have dedicated special aisles for these travel size products. These products are convenient for the frequent travelers and highly profitable for the producers.

Most travel size sundries are inexpensive for the consumer but highly profitable for the producers. This is because they are sold at a volume size. Smaller products are sold at a higher cost per unit. Though they appear inexpensive, the travel deodorant price per unit is typically two or three times the price of larger size products.

Travel deodorant is great for the gym. Many athletes carry all the necessary gym attire in a gym bag. Travel size containers of shampoo, shaving cream, and deodorant fit nicely into a gym bag. These smaller products make it easier for an athlete to clean up after an intense workout.

Many mothers carry their baby items in a diaper bag. This includes all the care and feeding items that would be required throughout the day for children. Travel size packages are also available for most child items. These include baby wipes, kid’s deodorants, and health care items.

Deodorant designed for children comes in a variety of cartoon packaging. This makes hygiene more fun for kids because it includes their favorite cartoon characters. Most travel deodorant is also available in child cartoon packaging.

I am always getting free travel size deodorant samples but I never end up using them. They just take up space in a drawer in my bathroom. I always think they will come in handy one day but they don't see to have yet.

I like the idea of travel deodorant but I am always unimpressed with the selection. I use a right guard deodorant that I like a lot but they do not make the same formula in a travel sized version. I would rather stick with what works than have the convenience of the little stick.

I find travel deodorant really handy because taking a whole stick for a trip of only a few days takes up a lot of unnecessary space in your luggage.

I like to travel as light as possible so I use travel sized versions of all the toiletries I bring.
