The zoo is a great place to take children in Phoenix as the Children's Zoo includes a walking trail with views of animals such as a raccoon, porcupine and ocelot. The Forest of Uco exhibit has a bamboo rain forest you can walk in. There are also farming demonstrations for children as well as a petting zoo.
