What Is Royal Jelly Cream?

Royal jelly cream is a compound used by many to heal, revitalize, and protect their skin. As the name suggests, royal jelly cream is made from royal jelly, a particular gelatinous substance that is produced by worker honeybees. In addition to its skin-toning benefits, many believe that royal jelly itself carries a host of other health benefits. Users can purchase the cream in many health and beauty stores, holistic markets, and through online manufacturers and retailers.

Sometimes called bee’s milk, royal jelly is a gooey, sticky substance that is secreted by worker bees and fed to specific larvae in a beehive. Those larvae then have the potential of becoming queen bees. Queen bees, the rulers of the beehive, are really just supercharged worker bees. They live much longer, grow much larger, and are extremely fertile. Consequently, people believe that the royal jelly has extreme and special properties that can help boost human immunity, energy, longevity, and sexual prowess.

Analysis of royal jelly itself has shown that it is made up primarily of water, protein, sugar, and fat. It also contains a host of vitamins, including many of the B vitamins, as well as several beneficial amino acids. The jelly is harvested, processed, and sold in various forms, including powder and capsules, which people consume for a variety of purposes, such as increased sex drive, menopausal relief, arthritis relief, and increased energy. Some studies have shown that it might even lower LDL cholesterol in some individuals. Royal jelly cream, however, is not intended to be consumed but rather applied topically.

When applied regularly, royal jelly cream is said to tighten a person’s skin and decrease the appearance of the lines and wrinkles that come with age. This has prompted some people to refer to it as a face-lift in a jar. Additionally, many claim that the cream restores and revitalizes the skin, giving it a softer, smoother, healthier appearance. There are individuals who maintain that royal jelly cream also promotes healing of the skin and reduces the appearance of scars and other defects. Others also claim that royal jelly cream, when applied to the scalp, stimulates hair growth.

Considering that royal jelly cream comes from beehives, those who have an allergy to either bees or honey should not use this particular product as it might induce an allergic reaction. Additionally, the product might cause adverse reactions for individuals who have asthma or a sensitivity to pollen. Also, women who are pregnant as well as young children should avoid using royal jelly cream.

I really want to try royal jelly cream. It sounds like just what I need and it's fairly affordable as well. I just have one concern. As far as I know, royal jelly has estrogenic properties. So it can mimic estrogen in the body. I know that using royal jelly cream is not the same thing as ingesting royal jelly. But I'm sure royal jelly will be absorbed to some extent by skin.

I'm not supposed to use estrogenic foods because I have a fibroadenoma in my breast. My doctor told me to avoid estrogenic foods. So is royal jelly cream safe for me?

@donasmrs-- I haven't used royal jelly cream but I've bought it for my mom. I saw many good reviews of royal jelly cream online. Since my mom has very dry, sensitive skin with wrinkles, I thought that the cream might benefit her. She hadn't had much luck with other products that she had tried recently.

She used the cream every single day until it ran out and couldn't stop raving about it. She told me that her skin feels beautiful. It's soft, firm and her wrinkles are less visible. I just put in another order for her! I think you should give this cream at try.

I've taken a royal jelly supplement before, but I never used the cream. Does royal jelly cream really minimize wrinkles?
