What is an Inflatable Hot Tub?

An inflatable hot tub is a kind of hot tub that is portable, smaller than standard tubs, and made out of materials that are much less rigid than stationary versions. Much like other inflatable items and appliances, it can be erected using an air pump, which may also be able to draw the air out of the hot tub when it is time to stow the item. An inflatable hot tub often comes with a lid, just like traditional hot tubs do, although it is usually also inflatable.

There are pros and cons to having an inflatable hot tub. It can be moved easily from place to place, and it can even be taken on vacation. In most cases, an inflatable tub is usually much smaller than a standard, stationary hot tub. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage because it has less space for people to sit in it, it also takes much less time to heat up.

Another reason that some people purchase inflatable hot tubs instead of standard hot tubs is price. They are usually much more affordable, although the price can vary depending on the model.

One of the biggest disadvantages of an inflatable hot tub is its size. It can rarely accommodate the same number of people as a standard hot tub, so it's less appropriate for use while entertaining. This usually isn't a problem for people who plan to use one on their own, or with only one other person. Some inflatable hot tubs can hold up to four people, but having four adults in most of these models might feel a bit cramped.

Just as with any other kind of hot tub, an inflatable model requires maintenance. In order to keep it in good condition, it is important to follow all of the maintenance rules listed in the owner's manual.
