While flowers are popular for their pleasant smells and aesthetic value, most people do not realize how important flowers are to a variety of everyday applications. Flowers contain many vital nutrients, and among the most used of these nutrients is aloe, which is used to improve everything from vision to skin care to wrinkles.
From the lily family comes the aloe plant, commonly called aloe Vera. The health benefits linked with aloe have been well-documented through the test of time. Aloe lotion is just one of many different forms of aloe Vera that people use on a daily basis. Aloe Vera comes in gels, sprays, liquids, creams, and even in the form of a capsule. Although aloe is commonly used in the United States and Canada, doctors in India are also prescribing the use of aloe gel and aloe lotion to many their patients.
The gel which comes from the aloe Vera plant has been found to have as many as 75 nutrients. Applying aloe lotion two to three times a day can help soothe pain from sunburns, blisters, insect bites and rashes. Using aloe lotion also promotes the body’s healing with few, if any, scars left on the body. The effectiveness of aloe Vera is due to its ability to help skin cells regenerate. There are some cases when using the aloe lotion can diminish facial acne and sun spots, among other blemishes. Bruising can be reduced when using a mix of the aloe Vera with wheat germ oil.
The use of aloe Vera has been known to work on other areas of the body as well. It may reduce dandruff and hair loss when it is applied to the scalp. Due to the ability to absorb quickly into the skin, aloe lotion works great on sprains, muscle stiffness and even arthritic pains. When aloe Vera is applied to the gums, it can reduce the pain and inflammation.
