What Are the Best Tips for Fast Acne Treatment?

For fast acne treatment, it is best to invest in two skincare systems and clean the skin twice daily. A chemical peel can be a major help, and this should be followed with natural treatments using items such as oatmeal and aloe. Oily items should be kept away from the skin at all times. If the acne is severe, the best option is to contact a dermatologist.

Fast acne treatment is a process and is one that can be rather extensive depending on the severity of the problem. One of the first steps that an individual should take is to invest in two good acne treatment systems. A system is a group of products that works together to accomplish the goal. It may include items such as a facial wash, toner, and spot treatment.

The reason that two systems are suggested is because a person seeking fast acne treatment should cleanse her skin twice per day. There are a wide range of products available, and people tend to believe that the differences between them are the ingredients. Although this is true to some degree, products also work differently. A person looking for quick results will use two systems as opposed to one system twice a day so that different strategies are applied to attacking the problem. Considering this, it is important to make sure that the active ingredients in the two systems differ.

The next ideal step for fast acne treatment is to schedule a chemical peel. This is a procedure in which a chemical is used to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin. Removing those outer layers eliminates dead cells and oil that may be blocking the pores. Once that is done, products are more capable of being absorbed into the fresh layer of skin.

Natural remedies should also be included in the process for fast acne treatment. One that is highly recommended is an oatmeal mask. This simply involves applying cooked oatmeal to the skin after it has cooled and allowing it to remain for about 20 minutes before rinsing. It can also be helpful if aloe vera, either directly from the plant or from a commercial product, is applied to the affected areas. This does not need to be rinsed off.

While seeking relief from acne, a person should avoid applying any product that has oil on the skin, such as cleansers, moisturizers, and makeup. It is also important to avoid contact with oily items such as telephones and pillowcases. These products are only likely to slow down the process or aggravate the problem.

Anyone who has severe skin issues and is in need of fast acne treatment should see a dermatologist. Over-the-counter products may not be effective no matter which ones are used or how often they are applied. The problem may require a prescription, which may clear up the problem fairly quickly.

Chemical peels work and they get rid of acne blemishes and scars too. But they do have side effects. Since they remove the top layer of skin, there is always a lot of redness and irritation after the treatment.

My sister got a chemical peel as a cystic acne treatment and could not leave the house for a week afterward because her face was so red. I'm not sure chemical peels are fast or not for this reason. I suppose they are fast in the sense that all acne goes away at the same time. But healing does take a while, it doesn't happen overnight.

@fify-- I have no idea, but it can't be good to put toothpaste on your skin. There are over the counter acne treatment products you can use instead.

You could also apply diluted clove oil or diluted tea tree oil on pimples to dry them out quickly. I have a great homeopathic paste with clove oil that I use for this purpose. My pimples are gone the next day. Of course, it takes a few days for the redness to go away. But I don't know any treatments that work faster than this.

How do I get rid of a pimple quickly? Is it true that applying toothpaste to a pimple overnight makes it go away?
