To make a Snickers® pie using this simplified recipe, simply gather, combine, and cook on the stove top the following items: 25 marshmallows, 6 Snickers® bars, and 2/3 cups (150 ml) milk. Allow the items to cool, then add 1 cup (250 ml) of whipping cream to the mixture. Pour the entire mixture into a store-bought pie shell and cool for about two hours. Then, top with Cool Whip®.
Another version of Snickers® pie uses additional items for an entire different result. Make the pie this way, and the result is more of a decadent ice cream pie. First, heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Then, mix and press into a pie plate the following: 2 cups (500 ml) of crushed Oreo® cookies, ½ cup (125 ml) of chopped dry roasted peanuts, and ¼ cup (60 ml) of melted butter. Bake the ingredients for about 10 minutes; this will make the pie shell. As it is cooling, chop 8 Snickers® bars into bite size pieces and fold it into 2 quarts (1.89 l) of softened ice cream. Next, spoon the ice cream mixture into the pie shell. Lastly, drizzle ¼ cup (60 ml) of caramel sauce and ¼ cup (60 ml) of chocolate sauce over the top. Freeze the pie for about four hours.
A third version of the Snickers® pie uses a microwave, instead of a stovetop or an oven. It may be the easiest of all the recipes for those who want to make a Snickers® pie. Simply combine and microwave 4 large Snickers® bars, 12 large marshmallows, and ½ cup (125 ml) of milk, until the Snickers® bars are melted. Then, let the ingredients cool. Next, add 8 ounces (250 ml) of Cool Whip® to the cooled mixture. Pour the entire mixture into a store-bought chocolate pie crust and freeze it for about 4 hours.
One of the last variations uses pudding instead of ice cream for a refreshing treat. Start by mixing together: 1 ½ (350 ml) cups of milk, two 3 ¾ ounce (120 ml) boxes of instant vanilla pudding, and ½ cup (125 ml) of Cool Whip®. These ingredients should be mixed into they have a smooth consistency. Next, add 3 Snickers® bars that are cut into small pieces. The entire mixture should be poured into a store-bought pie shell. Then, combine and mix until smooth another 1 ½ cups (350 ml) of milk, ½ cup (125 ml) of Cool Whip®, and two 3 ¾ ounce (125 ml) boxes of instant chocolate pudding. Spread the chocolaty mixture on top of the vanilla mixture. Sprinkle a few extra Snickers® bar crumbs on top.
